On June 27, 2010 The Friends of Codorus State Park's  President, Becky Miller, was honored for her June 30th retirement from the Hanover Church of the Brethren.  Becky, a former Marine and our New President was instrumental in the Opening and the operation of the Out Post gift shop in the Campground.  "Her baby" as she fondly refers to the shop has camping supplies, firewood, ice and anything else a park visitor may have forgotten to bring along.  Another one of her "babies" is the Halloween in the Park program.  Along with past-president Dave Carbaugh, he and Becky imagined a safe place for the children to go trick or treating.  The program offers that safety as well as fun for the entire family.  "Nothing scary" is the 1# rule.  Checkout the link for more details.

Pictured below are members of the maintenance crew, park manager, and campground hosts installing the two new benches given to Becky in her honor.  You can find one of her benches at the new playground and the other is at the Out Post where you will also find Becky.  Stop by and say hello.
